Graduation, Gardening and Basketball

The last few weeks have been busy for us. Chris graduated from BYU. Hurray! He has worked so hard especially these last few years. I have been so impressed at how well he managed to get everything done and still spend so much time with Grant and I. He has pretty much finished everything on the remodel project he was working on for his dad and has now started a new job at a company called PSI. They are currently working on the City Creek project in downtown Salt Lake.

Grant has been working on improving his basketball skills or "butball" as he calls all balls with the new basketball hoop he got from Grandma and Grandpa Thorley.

I managed to get a garden planted. I am so proud of myself. I tried out the Square Foot Garden method. Chris built me the boxes and helped me get the soil and plants and then I was able to get everything planted last weekend. I also cut and sewed some strips of fabric together to make the grid. It involved figuring out and using a sewing machine all by myself! I am still a little skeptical about the square foot garden method. It all looks fine now but I am a little concerned how everything will fit when it's full grown. We'll have to see how it turns out.
