Out with the old and in with the new

Well, it is official. Our computer has completed all that it is going to be able to do for us and will now get to rest in some dump heap somewhere. Actually, I am not even sure what you do with old dead computers. Do you really just toss them in the garbage? Last December, as in '08, it had a hard time but was fixed and managed to push through one more year of service for us. We have been looking around, ok, actually Chris has been looking around and researching and trying to decide what will be the best replacement for us. I figure as long as it is not too hard to use and doesn't cost us a large fortune, (small fortunes are fine right?) then I really don't have that much of an opinion in the matter. In the meantime, while my brother and his wife are out of the country, they have generously allowed us use of their fancy desktop computer. So here I am, trying to make good use of it. We just downloaded everything from our computer so I can now start to catch up on things.
