I LOVE how funny Grant has been lately. He does learn it from the best so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. For example:
~Yesterday at Walmart I let him walk instead of getting a cart. He proceeded to do this funny twist your hips and arms while moving forward walk. I think it may even be funnier when I demonstrate it for you.
~He has been saying "Stop it! Right now!" a lot lately. Can't figure out who he could have possibly learned that from.
~He likes to sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" in a sweet nice voice and then all of a sudden sing a word really deep and crazy. He then busts up laughing and can hardly calm down to try it again. (He learned that from Captain Feathersword on The Wiggles.)
~He tries to imitate The Incredibles by running fast, stopping and then doing some pose that involves legs far apart and hands out.
~He loves to play with his cars and if you can eavesdrop on the conversations he makes them have, it's pretty hilarious. I even heard him having Mater yelling, "stop it, right now!" to poor Lightning McQueen. He was really getting in trouble for something.
~And on Sunday, while the Sacrament was being passed and it was conveniently the quietest, Grant stood up on the bench and said quite loudly, "I see Bishop! Right there! Hi, Bishop!" He did this a couple of times and had everyone around us smiling. He really does love to say hi to our Bishop.
I LOVE the collection of Salsa songs S&M have on on their computer. Man, what a great feel good beat. It just makes me happy.
I LOVE my husband. I don't publicly say this on the blog very much, (well, lately I haven't said much at all on the blog) I think for fear of seeming too mushy or something. But it really should be said. For Valentine's day he surprised me with tickets to a Paul Cardall concert at Abravanel Hall. I have always enjoyed his piano music but really didn't know very much about him. Anyways, his concert was a fundraiser for those who have heart disease or transplants and besides being amazing musically, it was incredibly inspiring. I rode the train down and met Chris at the Gateway mall for dinner first. He was still finishing up work so I had a little time to window shop. I thoroughly enjoyed both the time to myself and the time just with Chris. That's just one reason for loving him lately but I thought it was a pretty good one.

mmmm. that is the way I love grapefruit too- just the way it was supposed to be... And aren't you the one that has the fancy grapefruit knife thingy? Yea- We grew up with super cool grapefruit spoons, and now I resort to the "cut around each wedge" strategy!
You have always loved grapefruit...what is this "lately" business. Everytime I see a grapefruit I think of you.
This is your blog and your family history, so go ahead and talk about anything you want. The love for your husband is one of the most important things you should talk about---according to the gospel of dorsey :0)
Love you, Jenn!
YUM. grapefruit. What I wouldn't give for a grapefruit right now.
LOVE reading your Grant updates. It's fun to see what others are experiencing like we do with Ella.
