You're Not Hardcore Unless You Live Hardcore

We haven't blogged much for the past while and now you'll know why: We've been livin' it up hardcore. These are mostly pictures from "the subway" hike that we did. The one of the waterfall was a couple weeks later but was blog-worthy of itself. We'd like to thank Matt T. for setting up the hike for us. What a blast! I'd also like to thank all those that made my B-day so great (it was the same weekend as the subway). The only thing this blog is missing is evidence of the soreness afterwards. The other pictures are from the day we went to the local aquatics center and had a blast in the water. Grant loved it! The pictures on this blog are good but whatever you do- Don't skip the videos. Esspecially if you know Sam, Tom, or Grant.

This is why they call it the subway hike.
Here's our group and "some complete strangers" that we met. We "are in no way affiliated with them".
Mountain Man Tom
Mountain Man Sam

This is me and my neices Alicia, Kenzie, and nephew Marcus with Grant. You'd think we could have considered an outdoor pool with that white skin.

Eat your heart out Dubai

Here's a couple pics of Grant living hardcore during our 4-wheeler ride
Grant's actually living hardcore here and trying an escape from his swing.

I would love to know what is up with those videos ... sure looked like fun! Some dirty fun, but fun none the less. Why did not Chris join the fun - could it be that the mantel of fatherhood has brought a sense of cleanliness to his mind - the mere thought of drowning in a mudbath seeming not so appealing? Wise, very wise.

Silly boys!
