Snow, Snow go away. Come again another day. Like maybe in the winter ok?

~5 INCHES OF SNOW! Yes, that's right. We woke up this morning to a ton of snow. I seriously don't think we have had that much snow since December. I was up early this morning and even though I have been longing for warmth and sunshine, it really was so beautiful. There were layers of snow over everything. Grant was thrilled and played outside for about an hour this morning while Julie shoveled. He was eating snow, throwing it, diving in it, rolling in it, stomping in it, attempting to shovel it, and when we finally told him he had to come in, he laid down in it and yelled NO. He was pretty much a human snowball when I brought him in. I do think it's ironic that the school kids get to have that much snow during their spring break.

~Lately, when Grant gets up in the morning or from his nap he proceeds to hand me his blanket, his pillow, his small Lightning McQueen pillow, his doggy, his regular sized Elmo and baby Elmo. Then he expects me to pick him up out of the crib and carry him into the living room while still holding all of this loot from his bed. It's getting to be quite the feat with my growing belly.

~Speaking of my growing belly, Chris was able to feel the baby move last night. I had forgotten how neat that is. It really adds to my love for a little person that hasn't even made her grand entrance into the world yet.

Sounds kinda fun! I have basically no experience with my kids and snow at this point, but it sounds like fun!

the crib thing is funny because my 18 month old does the same thing. He has a fit when I tell him mommy can't carry all that stuff and he has to get out of bed.
